The league offers 4
levels of increasing competition to boys and girls in
grades K through 8.
For beginning players (grades K-2) we offer a wonderful Developmental
League where budding players can work on basketball
fundamentals and play in high school player facilitated
games and activities. Typically, these sessions run on
Saturdays from mid-December to early February.
For
players in grades 3-8, we offer boys and girls a chance to
compete in separate, competitive leagues through the
Nashoba League. There is some light travel involved as we
will play surrounding towns such as Berlin and Clinton.
Ultimately,
we offer a competitive level of basketball with an
emphasis on skill development and fun. The WBBYB Board
offers incrementally competitive levels of basketball
which are intended to prepare players for a middle school
basketball level of play.
